WE EXIST TO SERVE THROUGH THE UNION OF MYCOLOGY AND THE COMMONS
OUR AIM IS TO FIND CONTEMPORARY WAYS TO ENRICH THE SYMBIOSIS BETWEEN HUMANS AND FUNGI.
THE UNSEEN POWER AND ADAPTABILITY OF MYCELIUM CAN BE VISUALISED AND RE-CONTEXTUALISED AS WE ENGAGE IN NEW DESIGN PRACTICES AND EXPLORATIONS INTO HYPHALOGICAL DESIGN*.
SUCH EMERGING APPLICATIONS CAN CREATE A NEW NARRATIVE OF HUMAN ENGAGEMENT WITH THE LARGEST AND OLDEST LIVING ORGANISMS ON OUR PLANET.

With the intrigue and magic of fungi we aim to define a new era of community connection and action. From social incubation projects and small-scale business inoculation to family fruiting workshops, we will create an environment to connect communities together, in a way that is wholly beneficial and sustainable to the local ecology.
Fungi binds us all, it represents regeneration, renewal and is the interface organism between life and death. We want to inspire networks of local fungi collectives who’s mission is to re-energise our woodlands and forests, harnessing mycelial ingenuity to increase resilience and strength of those precious ecosystems.
We will care for and propagate UK native strains of medicinal and endangered species of mushrooms, to enhance and protect the biodiversity of British fungi. By developing UK strains of medicinal mushrooms, we can be utilising species that share our lands, and promote the feral healing that the UK’s wilderness has to offer.
Open Source Design, Open Making and the Creative Commons are the mediums by which we can share and manifest the ideas created by individuals and communities. We will create powerful human- mycelial networks, expanding the collective knowledge base and exploring new creative and novel approaches to sustainability.
A drifting idea, a thought that’s yet to manifest. A concept and conception. The essence of our individuality within a vast, collective cloud of others. Unrealised potential. A multitude of views, reasons and values, encapsulated.
Given the opportunity to land and propagate, the answers to questions that we are yet to realise can materialise.
The singular filamentous workhorse. Stringy graphters working incessantly. Collectively known as the mycelia, the largest, most resilient organisms on the planet.
Deep hyphalogical exploration into fungal applications for the benefit of multiple, diverse living communities. Mycellial networks which grow and form together to become highly resilient organisms, re-imagined into a multitude of emerging applications.
The culmination of the process. Enigmatic and Efficient. Poetic yet practical. The means by which the species can propagate dispersing fresh spores / ideas throughout the community and beyond. Food, medicine and ultimately nutrient for the biosphere.
